Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla Latest jobs are invited from eligible and desirous candidates for the recruitment of the further posts of Category B, C & D on Regular/Contract/Daily wages basis in Himachal Pradesh University. Age Limit of Candidates :
The minimum and maximum age limit for post(s) mentioned at sr. no. 4 to 29 is 18 to 45 years, reckoned as on prescribed closing date for submission of application forms. The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes, Person with Benchmark Disabilities and Children/ Grand Children of Freedom Fighters of Himachal Pradesh. The relaxation in upper age to Ex-Servicemen candidate of H.P. will be as per provisions of relevant rules/ instructions of H.P. Govt.
Reservation :
The benefit of reservation for various post(s) will be admissible only to the applicants, who are bonafide residents of Himachal Pradesh in respect of categories, viz., S.C., S.T., O.B.C., E.W.S., B.P.L., Ex-Servicemen, WFF and Persons with disabilities.

1. General Category {including general Physically Disabled i.e. Orthopedically disabled, Deaf & Dumb, Hearing impaired/W.F.F. of H.P./Ex-Servicemen of H.P. relieved from Defence Services on their own request before completion of normal tenure} - 2000 (Category B) & 1200 (Category C & D)
2. S.C./S.T./O.B.C./ EWS/ B.P.L. (General-BPL/ SC-BPL/ ST-BPL/ OBCBPL). - 1000 (Category B) & 600 (Category C & D)
3. Ex-Servicemen of H.P. - NIL
