1. Tabo Monastery

The Tabo Monastery is situated in Kaza of Lahal-Spiti in Himachal Pradesh. It is also well known as “Ajanta of the Himalayas” and this was the oldest Monastery in the world, built in 996 A.D. by Ye-Sashoad.

2. Kee Monastery

Kee Monastery is situated in Spiti of Lahaul-Spiti district in Himachal Pradesh. This is the Largest monastery in Spiti. This monastery constructed in 11th century.

3. Guru Ghantal Monastery

The Guru Ghantal Monastery is situated in Tupchiling of Lahaul-Spiti district in Himachal Pradesh. This was the oldest Gompa of Lahaul. Located on right bank of Chandra river at 3020 mtrs. Above the sea level.

4. Kardang Monastery

The Kardang Monastery is situated in Keylong of Lahaul-Spiti district in Himachal Pradesh. This was built in the 12th century. Add renovated by Lama Nobru in 1912. It has a big library of Tangyur and Kangyur volumes of Buddhist Scriptures in Bhoti Language.

5. Shashur Monastery

Shashur Monastery is situated in Keylong of Lahaul-Spiti district in Himachal Pradesh. This was built by Lama Deva Gytsho in the 17th century.

6. Dhankar Monastery

The Dhankar Monastery is situated in Kaza of Lahal-Spiti in Himachal Pradesh. The Principal figure of this Monastery is a statue of Vairochana (Dhyan Budha).

7. Jangi Monastery

The Jangi Monastery is situated in Recongpeo of Kinnaur district in Himachal Pradesh. The Monastery constructed in the 10-11th century A.D.

8. Lippa Monastery

The Lippa Monastery is situated in Taiti of Kinnaur district in Himachal Pradesh and founded by Lama Devarama. It has three temples.

9. Baba Rudra Nand Ashram

The Baba Rudra Nand Ashram is situated in Nari of Una district in Himachal Pradesh. This Temple was built by Raja Sahil Varmen in the memory of his daughter Champavati.
