Himachal Pradesh is situated in North of India and Himachal is known as Crown of India. The Himachal Pradesh is bounded between 30degree22" to 33degree12" North latitude and 75degree47" to79degree40" East longitude. Total border length of Himachal Pradesh is 1179tkm. In the North, It is bounded by Jammu-Kashmir; In the South, it is bounded by Hariyana and Utrakhand; In the East side, it is bounded by China and Tibbet ; in the West side, it is bounded by Punjab.
Districts of Himachal : There are 12 districts in Himachal Pradesh. Kangra is biggest district of himachal by population and Lahaul Spiti is biggest district by area wise. By population density Hamirpur is biggest district. The District Profiles of Himachal Pradesh is given below:
